Accessibility

The City Museum has an ancient floor, neverless the Museum is accessible to people with disabilities and reduced mobility thanks to the presence of a ramp at the entrance and a lift. Wheelchairs available at the ticket office.

Other Informations

During the period of the exhibition "Amedeo Modigliani e l'avventura di Montparnasse" between 7th November 2019 and 16th February 2020, the permanent exhibitions of the City Museum will not be accessible.

In the contemporary gallery, Luogo Pio Arte Contemporanea, there is an exhibition curated by the Livorno Foundation: photo exhibition, "Luci di Livorno", which also contains a small selection of the works from the permanent collection. Free entry 15pm - 19pm Dogs not admitted - Consumption of ice cream, drinks or food on the premises is absolutely forbidden - Smoking not permitted - Backpacks, bags of any size, umbrellas and other bulky items must be left in the cloakroom (free). For wallets, mobile phones and other valuables, a special bag will be provided to be returned at the exit.
